RMC Prenatal Classes
Educational Services partners with the OB department and lactation consultants in providing prenatal education classes. Please contact 256-235-5141 for information and schedules.
Saturday Prenatal Classes
RMC is now offering an 8-hour class on Saturdays to help fit your schedule. To attend, you must pre-register by calling 256-235-5132 ext. 1.
RMC Breastfeeding Classes
At the RMC Women’s and Children’s Pavilion Level 3000 Classroom. The classes will be held from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Due to high attendance, pre-registration is required. Call Kim or Jennifer at 256-235-5132 ext. 1 for a class schedule and to register.
RMC Diabetes Education Classes
Help diabetics and those closest to them learn how to best manage the disease through proper diet, exercise and medical treatment. The class meets every Wednesday at 1 p.m., and a physician referral is required. To register for class or for more information, call 256-235-5069 or 256-235-5070.
Car Seat Safety Checks
RMC’s Car Seat Safety Check is offered the fourth Thursday of every month from 8 a.m. to Noon. The check, which is free and open to the public, is held at the Tyler Center Parking Deck, 731 Leighton Avenue. Click here for more information and a sign-up form.
