Public Relations Mission
The mission of RMC’s Public Relations Department is to market the medical center, its physicians, and programs and services offered to the community, including area businesses and industries. We focus on our five-county service area of Calhoun, Cleburne, Talladega, Clay and Randolph counties, which has a population of approximately 250,000.
We market our services through various avenues, including working with members of the media to assist them in covering RMC, producing all printed and electronic materials for the hospital, and administering HealthLink, a unique program for anyone 50 and older, that provides special hospital and community benefits to members, which currently exceed 8,000.
