Safety
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted on the RMC campus. .
Oxygen
Electrically operated equipment and aerosol products are not permitted in areas where patients are receiving oxygen.
Medications
All medications that you take while you are in the hospital are prescribed by your doctor, dispensed by the hospital pharmacy and administered by a nurse. Patients are not permitted to administer their own drugs or keep personal medications at their bedside. Families or visitors are asked to bring patient's home medications to the hospital pharmacy for identification. These medications will be returned to the family to take home.
Wheelchairs
Wheelchairs are available on all nursing units. Please ask for assistance from a member of the staff.
Valuable or Lost Items
Patients are asked not to bring items of value to the hospital. If you do bring a valuable item, it should be given to a trusted family member.
Vending Machines
Vending machines and change machines for snacks and beverages are located off the main lobby, ICU waiting area and on the second floor.
