What to Bring

What to bring with you...

  • Your insurance card. We need this each time you come to RMC for care.
  • All medications you are currently taking. Please leave these in the containers your pharmacy dispensed them.
  • Legal Papers. Each time you visit RMC, we need a copy of legal papers such as your living will, power of attorney, for minors, proof of custody.
  • If you have a stent/stents, pacemaker or defibrillator, bring the information card with you.
  • Follow all specific instructions you were given relating to this visit.
  • Sleep Apnea Equipment. If you suffer from sleep apnea and require a c-pap device to sleep, bring the equipment and supplies with you.
  • Sleepwear, robe and sleepers.
  • Personal toiletries such as toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, soap, shaving creme, etc.
  • Contact lens supplies and case.
  • Denture cup and supplies.
  • Comfortable clothing to go home in.

Visiting hours and regulations are:

The main entrance and Women's and Children's Pavilion are closed between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. During this time visitors must enter through the Emergency Department.

Regular Unit:
8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. daily.

Maternity Unit:
New mothers may receive visitors between 8 a.m. and 9:30 p.m.

Regional Psychiatric Services:
Please call the unit before visiting at extension 5064.

Intensive Care Unit: The following times are the scheduled visiting hours:
5 a.m. to 5:30 a.m.
8:15 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
12 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.
2:15 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
5 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and
8:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Pediatric Unit: Parents may visit anytime. No children under the age of 12 may visit.
