Our Residents

Chad R. Black, M.D., Third Year Resident
Dr. Black grew up in West Chester, Pennsylvania. He received his BA in Industrial Relations from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in Marietta, Georgia. Dr. Black graduated with Cum Laude Honors from St. Christopher's College of Medicine in Senegal. In his spare time, Dr. Black likes to watch football games and movies, and he enjoys running, weight lifting and traveling.

Joseph D. Peggs, M.D., Third Year Resident
Dr. Peggs comes to us from Tempe, Arizona. He received a BS degree in both English and Philosophy from Northern Arizona University, and his Pre-med degree from the University of Arizona. Dr. Peggs completed medical school at the University of Sint Eustatius in Netherland-Antilles. Dr. Peggs’ hobbies include reading, playing scrabble, working out, hiking, golfing and the guitar.

Stewart Roberts, M.D., Second Year Resident
Dr. Roberts grew up right here in Anniston. He decided to do his residency in his hometown, so he could take care of the community he was raised in. Dr. Roberts graduated from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa with a BS in Biology. He completed medical school at Saba University School of Medicine in Netherland-Antilles. Dr. Roberts enjoys painting, music and traveling with his wife Ashley.

Sunil K. Sharma, M.D., Second Year Resident
Dr. Sharma relocated to Anniston from Atlanta, Georgia. He received his BS in Biochemistry from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and his MD from Saba University School of Medicine in Netherland-Antilles. In his spare time, Dr. Sharma likes to travel, fish, read, weight lift and watch sporting events. Dr. Sharma and his wife Courtney, enjoy the area.
